MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: October 15, 2018
Present: John Makuc, Julio Rodriguez and Peter Kolodziej
Also present: Mike Kulig
The meeting began at 4:03pm
- Mike Kulig of Berkshire Engineering came in to review the proposed septic plans for 10 Phelps Rd which is an existing 2 bedroom home. The site is very difficult with several wet areas. The proposed plan is for a 3 bedroom home upgraded to a jet bat system with a perc rite. Abutter’s will need to be notified due to the requested variance. The Board suggested a composting septic as a better alternative. The Board will need to see existing and proposed floor plans before giving a final approval.
- The minutes from 9/17/18 were approved.
- The next meeting will be Monday, November 5 at 4pm.
